Breaking: Just after Attacking one in Ebonyi, Unknown Gunmen Sets Another INEC Office Ablaze, abduct workers in Imo

Festus Okoye, the spokesman for the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has expressed concern over the attack on another office of the commission in Imo State.

In a statement on Friday, Okoye disclosed that the office in Orlu Local Government Area undergoing renovation was razed on Thursday by unidentified hoodlums.

Three construction workers were also abducted, said the INEC spokesman who quoted Professor Sylvia Agu the Resident Electoral Commissioner.

The workers were later released, he said.

According to the INEC spokesman, the spate of attacks on its facilities may have negative consequences on the forthcoming general election.
