Manchester City’s team bus was damaged ahead of today, Wednesday night’s Champions League quarter-final clash at Liverpool.
This was confirmed by BBC correspondent, David Ornstein.
“Manchester City team bus badly damaged by projectiles while makin its way through crowds to Anfield.
Nobody hurt but bus has been rendered undriveable and a replacement sent. Liverpool expected to issue a statement apologising and have apologised at boardroom level #LFC #MCFC,” Ornstein tweeted.
Pep Guardiola takes his men to Anfield to face the Reds, who are the only team to have defeated them in the Premier League this season, seeking to finish this campaign with a Treble.
He has left named Raheem Sterling on the bench on his return to Anfield.
