Donald Trump: "Nobody treats US worst than the European Union, they terrorise other countries of the world" - US President cries Out
It’s not only countries like Poland, Hungary and Italy that are being terrorised by the bureaucrats of the European Union.
In a CBS 60 minutes interview, U.S. President Donald Trump claimed that the EU treats the U.S. with hostility and has been taking advantage of the U.S. for years.
“Nobody treats us much worse than the European Union. The European Union was formed in order to take advantage of us on trade”, Trump said in the interview with Lesley Stahl.
When Stahl tells Trump his remarks are ‘hostile’ the President replies: “You know what’s hostile, the way they treat us. We’ve been the stupid country for so many years.”
While talking about NATO, President Trump questions Stahl’s statement that it “kept the peace for 70 years.”
“You don’t know that,” Trump says. When asked if it’s correct that Secretary of Defence James Mattis told him NATO’s function is to avoid World War III, Trump says “that’s not true. . . .Frankly, I like General Mattis. I think I know more about it than he does. And I know more about it from the standpoint of fairness that I can tell you.”
