I Don't tolerate Nonsense, If Buhari claims to be the one in aso rock, he should do the needful than giving credence to the story – Obasanjo reacts

The former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has reacted to the allegation made by the Leader of the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi kanu, that the man in Aso Rock is Jubril from Sudan and not president Muhammadu Buhari.

 

Obasanjo stated that the news of a stranger running the affairs of Nigeria has gained international attention.

 

He urged Buhari to do the needful by coming out to address Nigerians on the issue of what Kanu said about the man in Aso rock than inadvertently giving credence to the story.

 

He cited an incidence in 2010, how it was rumoured that he was shot dead by assassins. He noted that the news went viral and on learning about it, he publicly debunked the report, came out and said that he was alive and well

 

According to Events Directors UK, Obasanjo stated this in Yola during the turbaning and birthday celebration of the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubarkar as the 7th Waziri of the Adamawa Emirate Council.

“Fake News Is Real But This Story Whether False Or True Can Only Be Put To Rest By The Accused Who Happens To Be President Muhammadu Buhari to address Nigerians and debunk the rumour.
