Six months imprisonment awaits anybody seen attacking Fulani herdsmen. ~President Mohammed Buhari.
The President has warned farmers in the host communities to refrain from attacking Fulani herdsmen who are returning from the south because of the rainy season.

The President gave the warning through his special assistant on media, Garba Shehu, who said that farmers and the herdsmen should stop taking laws into their hands.
“Fulani herdsmen coming back from the south should respect every boundary, farmers and the host communities. Farmers in turn should also refrain from attacking the herdsmen, six months imprisonment awaits anybody carrying out an attack “, Garba Shehu said.
President Buhari also sent his deepest condolences to the families that lost their loved ones in the recent herdsmen attack in Kastina state, urging security agents to step up their game in ensuring peace across the country.
