Mr Njoku who is a Biafran war veteran, Stated;
"We went to that war with nothing, we went empty-handed. Some held machetes, some had sticks. They [Nigerian forces] had machine guns. But we fought very hard and the war lasted for 3 years. We sacrificed alot in our fight to get Biafra. But since after the war, the Nigerian government have continued to kill us. If you come to Igbo-land you can see there is no development here. The Nigerian government are treating us as slaves. We still need Biafra, Only Biafra Can Save Us".
