At least one person was killed and seven others were wounded in a suspected drone attack on Saudi Arabia’s Abha Airport, Saudi-owned Al-Arabiya TV said on Sunday.
An official Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen also confirmed the attack and the casualty toll. Yemen’s Houthi movement said they had targeted Abha and Jizan airports in southern Saudi Arabia with drone attacks.
A Syrian resident of Saudi Arabia has died from his wounds in the attack on Abha Airport, according to local news reports.
