RUGA: Stop Paying tithes, Offerings, Seed Sowing to your pastors - Ohanaeze Youth Urges Christians, if After 3months they do not Empower Christian Farmers in Nigeria

...Mandate Pastors/General Overseers to establish Christian Agricultural Banking System to empower members on cattle and livestock rearing

The National President of Ohanaeze Youth Council, OYC, Comrade Igboayaka O. Igboayaka, has appealed to churches and Christian leaders in Southern Nigeria to initiate and develop programmes capable of improving the living standard of their members rather than using church funds to acquire private jets and other material acquisitions that adds no fiscal value to the society.

In a statement issued in Asaba, Delta State on Sunday, Igboayaka who was reacting against the backdrop of the controversial Ruga settlement policy proposed for establishment across the states of the Federation for Fulani herdsmen, urged the Christian leaders to come together and set up Agricultural Banking System for Christians which would make loans accessible for Christians to establish cattle rearing business and other livestock breeding.

He said that this move would complement the efforts of the state governments in the region to setting up ranches for indigenous farmers for the rearing of cattle and other livestock.

The National President General of Ohanaeze Youth Council (OYC) Comr. Igboayaka O. Igboayaka who have since taken up the campaign to State governments across the region for the establishment of ranches for cattle rearing said it was only for the mechanized benefit of indigenous farmers in the region, urging Christian leaders and other relevant stakeholders to work in synergy in ensuring that the project comes to fruition.

He added that the project if realized would not only boost the standard of living and economic development of the region but will also go a long way in curtailing the recurring so-called herders-farmers clashes as every state will rear, sell and consume its own beef and diary productions and will see no need to engage Fulani cattle herders.

Comr. Igboayaka passionately appealed to the likes of Lazarus Muoka, Enoch Adeboye, William F. Kumuiyi, Johnson Suleman, David Oyedepo, Ayo Oritsejafor, David Ibiyeomie, T.B Joshua, Fr. Ejike Mbaka, Fr. Edeh, Paul Eneche, and other men of God to stop crying foul about the Islamic agenda but to face challenges and unveil Christian agenda by setting up initiative that will advanced the propagation of Christian faith and economic development of Christian faithfuls.

Comr. Igboayaka, therefore, urged Christians in Southern Nigeria to desist from giving offerings, sowing of seeds and paying of tithes in Church, if after 3 months Christian pastors and general overseers(G.O) fails to implement the establishment of Christian Agricultural Banking System to aid Christian farmers.

He stressed that Christian pastors cannot continue to acquire jet planes while their Muslim counterparts are busy equipping nomadic herdsmen to annihilate Christians through their Islamic agenda. Igboayaka noted that it is more honorable for a pastor to sell his private jet to empower Christians in cattle rearing and livestock business, than to cruise all over the world on the jet while their members are mindlessly slaughtered by killer herdsmen under the guise of cattle rearing because they felt they have no competitors in the business.
