Breaking: Just After Xenophobic Attack, Fayemi, El-Rufai, Emir of Kano storms South Africa As Nigerians reacts

Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State and Governor Nasir Elrufai of Kadunna State have come under heavy attack for attending the ongoing World Economic summit in South Africa despite the earlier report that the Nigerian Government has boycotted the summit over xenophobic attacks on Nigerians in the country.

Meanwhile, African countries like Rwanda, Malawi and DR Congo, boycotted the two-day summit holding in Cape Town following the attack on foreigners in South Africa.

Apart from the two Governors, The Emir of Kano, Mallam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi and Amina Jane Mohammed, who is the current Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations were also spotted at the event.

Photos of two Nigerian governors, Nasir El-rufai and Kayode Fayemi in South Africa, have generated reactions on social media.

Nigerians are outraged that the governors, who are members of the country's ruling party - All Progressives Congress are in South Africa, despite the federal government's withdrawal of its participation in the World Economic Forum on Africa in the country.

The Emir of Kano and former Central Bank of Nigeria governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, is also in the country for the conference.
