Information has revealed that over 30 victims who were kidnapped by some bandits in Katsina.
In a report published by dailypost revealed that after the kidnappers met agreement with the government of the state on Sunday, those held hostage was later released.
According to report, The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reported that the victims were kidnapped by the bandits from Kankara and Shimfida, both in Jibia Local Government area of the state.
While speaking One of the kidnapped victim, Zinatu Sani said that the kidnappers demanded a sum of #20million for ransom which she claimed that her family can't afford to pay.
"The suspected bandits used to give them rice to cook, with only water and salt."
Also speaking, Sani stressed that the bandits later reduced the money to #6 million which she said her family can not afford to still pay.
“For 55 days, we slept in an open place without a roof, not minding the rainfall or heat,” she lamented.
