Special Adviser to the Lagos State government on Environmental and Gutter drainages, Mr Joe Igbokwe has congratulated Mr Uchenna Mefor, the deputy leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra over his resignation last week.
It was gathered that Mr Mefor tendered his resignation letter over what he claimed to be lack of proper vision in IPOB leadership and wish not to continue with the agitation.
While appreciating his courage, Mr Igbokwe affirmed that Uche Mefor's resignation is a testament that IPOB is bound to crumble any moment from now.
According to him, "My brother Mefor, I congratulate you for heeding to the advise of your brothers from the Eastern region, especially the Igbo elites and I want to heartily encourage you to be brave and courageous in your decision and never succumb to pressure from IPOB e-rants.
"It is also my prayer that most Igbo youths who has been following Nnamdi Kanu sheepishly will retrace their steps and stop the fight against their fatherland Nigeria. I see many leaving IPOB very soon, only then will Nnamdi Kanu know that this country is indivisible.
"Nigeria is too big to accommodate all of us and with the massive infrastructural development in the Eastern region built by our able President Muhammadu Buhari, is an example that Nigeria is on the path to greatness." he said
However, Mr Mefor has taken to social media in countering those calling him saboteur and vowed to reiterate.
