"Be a patriot, free yourself from Nigeria" - Nnamdi Kanu Tells Biafrans, MiddleBelt, Others

Nnamdi Kanu, leader of Indigenous People Of Biafra while quoting Thomas Jefferson, said that it is better to be a patriot.

He said this on his Twitter page on Tuesday, pointing at those who he claimed are afraid to stand up to defend their lands against "Oppressors".

He wrote: "If you’re afraid to stand up to the oppressors of Nigeria, remember what Thomas Jefferson had said in 1776. He said: “I prefer dangerous freedom over peaceful slavery.” This is part of what propelled the Patriots to act, to free America. Be a patriot, free yourself from Nigeria."
