Pete Edochie, Nollywood veteran actor has commented on the current situation in Southeastern part of Nigeria.
According to him, the Eastern governors and the members of House of representatives and House of reps should as a matter of fact try to do what the people wants and not only focus on their personal interest.
He added that the only person who is speaking for Igbos in the senate remains only Senator Abaribe who has been in the forefront agitating for the interest of Ndigbo.
During an interview with BBC Igbo, the veteran actor, further pleaded with the government to empower individuals who are ready to engage themselves with animal husbandry and fish farming as well train Igbo local cows instead of only depending on the ones brought in from the North.
He said not only cows but also other farming sections.
“I think by implementing into low that anyone who wants to host any kind of ceremony in Ala Igbo must use Igbo cow instead of Fulani herdsmen’s cow, will resolve the rising crises in the region,’ – Pete Edochie buttressed.
Igbo Gov's should not be afraid of Fulani and hear the cry of the people - Pete Edochie
