Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has issued a warning to the Nigerian government over the detention of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.
Kanu's close ally Fani-Kayode stated that IPOB leader should not die in captivity.
The former minister encouraged the Federal Government to treat Kanu with decency and respect while in detention in a tweet.
“It is no longer news that @MaziNnamdiKanu has been arrested and detained. I advise the FG to ensure that he does not die in custody and that he is treated with decency, decorum and respect,” he tweeted.
