"Let Biafra Go, IPOB Declares Social Welfare Scheme Against Unemployment in Biafra Land

Its no longer about saying IPOB, one family, We’re here to demonstrate that indeed, we’re one family.

IPOB, under the leadership of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, has announced it’ll launch a social welfare public works scheme to boost economic activities in Biafra land.

He said the initiative will help address lack of infrastructural developments, rehabilitate dilapidated schools, roads and take over maintenance of drainage systems in areas prone to flooding.

He mentioned Aba, Owerri,Onitsha, Abakaliki andIgweocha (Portharcourt) as crucial places to benefit from the project.

He said there was need to create a welfare outreach team to offer the public assistance wherever it was needed.

“There’ll be massive job creation in various sectors of the economy where raw materials can be locally sourced to help drive down the rate of unemployment especially among young graduates.”

“Our people, town and villages are top priority as we begin to demonstrate the mindset that will guide us into Biafra, Its no longer about saying IPOB, one family.

we’re here to demonstrate that indeed, we’re one family.”

Nnamdi Kanu said that there’s a high level discussions with Israeli businessmen to help facilitate the creation of high tech farm settlements and small scale industrial parks inCrossriver, Imo, Delta, Ebonyiand Benue state.

The jobs created from this project will help stem the tide of Biafran youths running away from home only to end up in different horrible situations abroad, Kanu explained.

Kanu also addressed the question why the referendum wasn’t carried out in the past year as earlier planned.

He said conducting a referendum was a huge task, cost intensive exercise and needed to round up logistical preparations, diplomatic consultations before moving ahead.

He however promised the referendum will most likely take place this year and that all preparation was on-going to see we get it right the first time.

“We are one family, This year 2019, we shall begin to taking tangible first steps to nationhood. We’ll do everything humanly possible to ensure our referendum is conducted this year. ” 

Kanu reiterated that Nigeria can never and will never work simply because of our divergent value systems.
